Sealine is the research centre of the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara that deals with study and education in the field of landscape architecture.

The activity focuses on the elaboration of programmes and solutions that address the transformation of urban, rural or specialised landscapes affected by complex phenomena of an anthropic-environmental nature such as climate change, infrastructural adaptation, tourism development.

The aim is to provide decision-makers - public or private - with tools and knowledge to steer the transition towards new ecological balances that correspond to a different landscape structure.

Theoretical and applied research therefore follow the same interdisciplinary approach, which is reflected in the composition of the team and the topics investigated.
